Berlin

I went to Germany (Berlin!) to visit Alex Kleinert, who I played with on the tennis team for a year at SJHS. I was there for Thurs-Mon, and AJ came for Sat - Monday morning. I had a blast -- we went to a party in a World War II bunker, drank lots of German beer, ate lots of German food (meat & potatos are the staples of a German meal), had delicious homemade pizza, got to see the sights, met a lot of his friends including his girlfriend (Berenice -- she's super fun) and his parents (both are incredibly nice), and had a super great time visiting with an old buddy -- it was a great time. I'm determined to go back again! Maybe next year for October fest!

And if you have not been to Berlin, go! It's awesome. My favorite part of Europe so far!

Socialism at Work

I had to deal with this today going to French class. It really didn't inconvenience me that much, but it did for some people I know, and it's just retarded.
