Amsterdam

Rocks. Yes, Amsterdam rocks. Very fun place. Here are some pics from this wonderful location.

And yes, I arrived home safely to the US. It was a pain in the butt since I had to go through Washington DC -- so my in-flight time was around 14 hours, but it's a great feeling to be back :-). The Double-Double I had from In-N-Out last night was AMAZING! :)

Netherlands

I am leaving Paris on Saturday to go to the Netherlands. I am staying in Amsterdam on Saturday night, and then taking a train 2.5 hours north on Sunday to a small town, where I am training there for work on Monday and Tuesday. I then take a train back on Tuesday night, stay in Amsterdam again, and fly back to Cali on Wednesday. Below is where I am going (click on the image to make it bigger).

Eiffel Tower at Night

While AnneJulie was at a work function, I took my trusty tri-pod and camera and went over to the Eiffel Tower to take some pictures at night. The results are here!

The Riots

Since basically everyone has expressed some concern over the "Paris" riots (thanks! for the concern), I figured I would declare here that I am ok. The riots are around an hour away from here -- so there is no need to worry. I am in Paris itself and not on the outskirts-- the riots are mainly happening in poor suburbs of Paris.
